Week leading up to Christmas Look

Happy Monday, everyone. Can you believe that it is Christmas week? I know I am super stoked for all the fun things we have planned this week. I have our breakfasts planned for every morning, already. My friend Bethany and I are rolling out Tasty Tuesday recipes tomorrow which is a set theme for once a month, and she will share her favorite for that theme and I will do the same. Tonight I am hosting the Wine and Design at my house for our community. Basically its our Early Childhood PTA and we have adult interest groups that meet once a month. I am the coordinator for the Wine and Design so I am hosting that tonight at our home. It might be a little eventful since the twins will be here but they are all moms so they get it. Tuesday, my son is having his third set of ear tubes put in. I am not looking forward to that but I am looking forward to spending the day with him after the minor surgery. Later this week, we have a special visitor coming to say hi to the twins at the house and then they get to have a sleep over at their Mimis one night. Which also means date night for the husband and myself. My best friend Jennifer and her kiddos will be over at some point for some friend PJ time. Plus, I am finally seeing a few friends on Thursday for lunch that I have not seen in a while and just enjoying the week leading to Christmas. I am probably in one of the best moods, ever. I just love this time of year!! What do you have planned this week?

Now let’s talk fashion…..This outfit is my perfect touch as it is bright and red, really speaking to my Christmas heart. I just had to do a post to show my Christmas cheer. But let me be honest here and tell you that if you have not bought this amazing Over the knee boots yet, you are really missing out. I have owned them about a month now and I wear them all the time. I actually have been matching my clothes to match them. Trust me on this one, plus I have large calves and these babies have no problem going over them. I can walk in them all day too, the comfort is that good. Lately these jeans have been my go to jeans from Nordstrom. I wear them on the daily, and they are perfect to throw on with boots over them. They stretch nicely too so you can cover up those love handles, if you know what I mean? ha! If you do not have love handles, then give yourself a high five right now. And know I also love but want to punch you. Kiddding…kind of! My black sweater is actually from last year, but I linked some simliar ones below. The red tank can be found at any Target but the one I got is from Amazon. I am so lazy when it comes to shopping in the store, I buy almost 98% of my items online these days. Plus, Amazon Prime is my hero. My beanie is from there as well. Also, if you do not own a tube of red lipstick, get yourself some. Its the perfect season to add that pop of red to your wardrobe. As my friend Gwenyth Paltrow would say: “Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your skin. That, or a kick-ass red lipstick.”
